Ally McCoist has broken the record for the most hat-tricks scored at Rangers, with 29. The former Scotland striker scored three goals in Rangers' 5-0 win over Falkirk in the Scottish League Cup on Tuesday night.

McCoist's record-breaking hat-trick came in his 51st game for Rangers. He has now scored 186 goals for the club in all competitions.

McCoist is a Rangers legend and is widely regarded as one of the greatest Scottish strikers of all time. He was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame in 2007.

McCoist's record-breaking hat-trick is a fitting tribute to a true Rangers great.
